Divine Protection From Hidden Dangers

God is very serious about His people knowing Him more personally. He keeps revealing himself to me. He has and continues to show me that he is Jehovah Jireh. He will provide! These last couple of months, he has been showing me that He is also my protector! He is Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Host.

A few days ago, a family mechanic came over to put brakes on my car. I had so many things to do, so I was not home when he arrived or while he was working. Not to mention, my husband was asleep from working all night. When I returned home, the mechanic was not there. He was done putting brakes on the car. In the mean while, I got a call from a sister in Christ that needed assistant with something.
Immediately, I jumped into my car and drove three blocks up the street and I felt my car driving funny. I quickly pulled over and checked my passenger front tire and immediately noticed my bolts were loose. I was literally taking my two fingers to turn all five of the loose bolts. It appeared that the bolts were just placed on my tire and looked like the man forgot to get his tools to tighten them.
I knew without a doubt my God protected me! I made four complete turns and not only was my son and I safe, but my tire never came off to cause any damage to the car. The Lord of Host kept us safe!

Later that evening, God spoke through a woman of God at church. He told me, “When you got into your car, didn’t you trust that the man who fixed it, did his job? You got into the car without first checking behind his work, and you did not check the tires or anything. You just trusted that he did what he said he was gonna do…and he is JUST man. That’s what I want from you. I need you to be that way about me. Take me at my word. Trust me to do what I said I’m gonna do. I got you!”
Wow! He is so awesome! I love how God keeps me and at the same time, teach me. Thank you Jesus!

Point to ponder:
Has God been revealing himself to you? What is he saying?

Action to take:
Take a minute and think back to how God has recently protected you and your family and tell Him thank you! So many times we take life for granted and we miss God and ALL His goodness! He is worthy of every praise and every “Thank you” we can give Him!

Verse of Meditation:

Psalms 91:11 (NLT)
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.

Prayer to pray:
Father God you are Jehovah Sabaoth! Thank you for constantly revealing yourself to me. Thank you for being so faithful! Thank you for protecting me and keeping me from seen and unseen dangers! Thank you for ordering your angels to protect me. Please forgive me for not trusting you like I should. Father God help me to leave everything in your hands Lord! In JESUS name I pray, Amen!

I'm a dedicated wife, author, CLC and mother of a blended family of five children and 3 grandchildren. I started a personal relationship with Jesus Christ on March 2, 2013. From that day forward, my life has forever changed! I love Jesus and I have a passion for helping women of all ages and walks of life. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I enjoy helping moms and baby breastfeed successfully. My favorite moto is "Any breast milk is better than none." I believe every mother and baby have their own unique breastfeeding journey. I look forward to walking with families to make the journey rewarding! I have been married to my loving husband, Michael since 2005 . We have experienced God's unmerited favor on our lives. However, It has not always been easy. Just like other married couples, we have faced many obstacles: In-law issues, financial issues, blended family issues, infidelity, cheating, etc. In 2011, we were near a divorce and our marriage was nearly over, but God had other plans for our union. He has restored our marriage, healed, and delivered us both. We are now SYMBIS Marriage Counselors and the proud founders of A2GG (Adding 2 God’s Gifts (Adding2godsgifts.com) A2GG is a sports development and mentor-ship program for the youth. To conclude, we enjoy attending church and helping families overcome the strategies of the enemy.
