Birthing in Silence

This past weekend I heard the exciting news about Dwyane and Gabriel Union Wade’s birth of their baby girl. I love how they gave birth in silence. Although, their process of getting pregnant was a long road. They dealt with it privately. They hired a surrogate and took the proper steps to conceive a baby….. in SILENCE! Consequently, they have their miracle baby. God has given us all a promise and a dream. I’m guilty of telling things prematurely out of pure excitement. As a result, some things got delayed. I found out that everyone that you tell your dreams to are not praying for you. Some are praying against you. As I began to mature in the things of Christ, I had to learn to give birth in silence. I encourage you to do the same. Pray and trust God’s perfect timing!

Verse of Meditation: Isaiah 42:14

“For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant.

I'm a dedicated wife and mother of a blended family of five children. I started a personal relationship with Jesus Christ on March 2, 2013. From that day forward, my life has forever changed! I love Jesus and I have a passion for helping women of all ages and walks of life. I have been married to my loving husband, Michael since 2005 . We have experienced God's unmerited favor on our lives. However, It has not always been easy. Just like other married couples, we have faced many obstacles: In-law issues, financial issues, blended family issues, infidelity, cheating, etc. In 2011, we were near a divorce and our marriage was nearly over, but God had other plans for our union. He has restored our marriage, healed, and delivered us both. We are now SYMBIS Marriage Counselors and the proud founders of A2GG (Adding 2 God’s Gifts (Adding2godsgifts.com) A2GG is a sports development and mentor-ship program for the youth. To conclude, we enjoy attending church and helping families overcome the strategies of the enemy.

  1. Myyyyyyyyy my my! I had to read it twice! I have been guilty of sharing prematurely also WOG. But I too have learned that there is a season to all things (Ecclesiastes 3) this is my season of not letting my right hand know what my left hand is doing….. Thank you for this beautiful word of encouragement to push us & help us to mature in the things of God (Sometimes Growing in Silence helps the process of maturity) ❤️Love you Always
