I will not be the one to talk about the year 2020 in anyway negative. I can honestly say this has been a year of vision and provision. I have been able to see God clearer than ever before, including signs and wonders. The bible says that signs and wonders will follow those who believe (Mark 16: 17-18). Yes, the world may put emphasis on the pandemic and Covid-19. But I choose to put them back on my Lord and Savior. For me personally I would say this year has challenged me in my faith, my prayers, my believe, etc. I can also say that I have grown so much spiritually.
My niece asked me a few of weeks “Tee-tee do you like growing pain?” I responded immediately. I said “No, Kimora…. It really hurts!” She went on to explain how her knees have been hurting from basketball camp and the reason why is because she is growing taller. For some reason her question and my answer resonated in my sprit for a little while. The Holy Spirit began to minister to me about the growing pain in my life and how it does not feel good, but its working for my good (Romans 8:28). For me to go a little higher in him, its necessary that I grow spiritually. So, as I’m getting taller; I admit that the aches and pains seem unbearable at times. But I trust God my Creator. He knows just how much pressure to apply.
If you are going through a difficult time right now, put your faith in God’s hands. Trust him. He knows just how much pressure is needed to grow us up spiritually and for our faith to grow even more. If the pain become too painful take a good dose of God’s word! Take it day and night and watch the pain subside.
Verse of Mediation: Joshua 1:8, KJV
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
If you desire to know God deeper and you are not sure when you die if you will go to Heaven to be with Him in eternity. Please say the following prayer out loud:
“Lord, come into my life, I will make you Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I believe you died on the cross for my sins and three days later you got up with all power in your hands. Wash me and cleans me from all my sins and make me whole before you today. I renounce my past and look forward to my future in you. Lord fill me with the Holy Spirit as only you can. In your name of Jesus Christ, I pray.”
If you’ve said the above prayer by faith, You are saved my friend. I encourage you to reach out to me if you have any questions about your salvation or would like to connect to a faith-based church.
