Childlike Faith

As we began to approach a flight of stairs, I notice my one-year-old
granddaughter grew with excitement. Every step she made seemed to impress me.
As I grabbed her hand, she took each step with confidence. In my opinion, she
handled those stairs well for her size and shorter legs. I am convinced that
she could have made it up the large stair way on her on lol! Nevertheless, I
felt like she needed the extra support. However, as we were leaving our
destination to head back home, things changed…It was her quick attempt to go
the stairs that freighting me. I quickly grab her hand as she had already began
going down the stairs. WHEW!! If I did not grab her, she would have tumbled
down!

In that moment of fear gripped me and the Lord began to speak. He explained to
me that Ava does not have any fear of going up or down the stairs. He pointed
out how she did not hesitate to size of the stairs before she decided to take
the first step. She never allowed fear to kick in. I can admit that I have
struggled with taking the first step when God has showed me a dream or has
asked me to do something out of obedience. To be honest, I quickly attempt to
count the cost or size up the assignment. Nevertheless, lets focus back to
these stairs,  as I bring my attention back on my granddaughter, I thought to
myself; “But she would have fell down the flight of stairs if I did not grab
her!” Gently God reminded me that she was not going to fall because she was not focused on falling! Besides, she had faith because you were with her. He
whispered and remined me, that He has he is walking with his children every
step of the way. He is always ready to reach out and grab our hand if we
stumble.. but first we must TRUST him and take the first step!

Verse of Meditation: Matthew 18: 2-4

“He called a little child to him and placed the child among them. And he
said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you
will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly
position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Salvation

If you desire to know God deeper and desire to walk with him closer, today
is your day. If you are not sure when you die if you will go to Heaven to be
with Him in eternity. Please say the following prayer out loud:

“Lord, come into my life, I will make you Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I believe you died on the cross for my sins and three days later you got up
with all power in your hands. Wash me and cleans me from all my sins and make
me whole before you today. I renounce my past and look forward to my future in
you. Lord fill me with the Holy Spirit as only you can. In your name of Jesus
Christ, I pray.”

If you have said the above prayer by faith, you are saved my friend. I
encourage you to reach out to me if you have any questions about your salvation
or would like to connect to a faith-based church.

We have experienced God's unmerited favor on our lives. However, It has not always been easy. Just like other married couples, we have faced many obstacles: In-law issues, financial issues, blended family issues, infidelity, cheating, etc. In 2011, we were near a divorce and our marriage was nearly over, but God had other plans for our union. He has restored our marriage, healed, and delivered us both. We are now SYMBIS Marriage Counselors and the proud founders of A2GG (Adding 2 God’s Gifts (Adding2godsgifts.com) A2GG is a sports development and mentor-ship program for the youth. To conclude, we enjoy attending church and helping families overcome the strategies of the enemy.
